Support for Pupils

S.H.A.R.P (School Help Advice Reporting Page)

At Drapers' we want our pupils to feel safe, both in and out of school. We understand that sometimes it is difficult to speak to an adult which is why we have adopted the SHARP system. This is an anonymous web reporting system which allows you to tell us about anything that is concerning you, whether it is for yourself, a friend or someone you know, in complete confidence. By clicking onto the title you will be taken to the SHARP website.

Safer Schools Officer

The Safer Schools Officer at Drapers’ Academy is PC Wayne Hopkins. He is here to help keep our pupils safe as well as reduce the fear of crime, and improve behaviour in and out of school.

School Nurse

The Academy Nurse is available by appointment. Pupils can arrange for an appointment by making the request through their Pastoral Manager.

E-Safety

Internet safety is of high importance at the Academy. Working alongside our safer schools officer, PC Wayne Hopkins we aim to educate pupils on the importance of staying safe online. A great resource for pupils to use is KidSMART - www.kidsmart.org.uk

CeopThe NCA’s CEOP Command is here to help children and young people. We are here to help if you are a young person and you or your friend (up to age 18) has been forced or tricked into taking part in sexual activity with anyone online, or in the real world. We also have advice and links to support for other online problems young people might face, such as cyberbullying and hacking. Visit our Safety Centre for advice and to report directly to CEOP, by clicking on the Click CEOP button.
