Admissions

It is the policy of Drapers' Academy to provide education for all children regardless of their different abilities and will not select any pupil by ability, aptitude or faith.  

Drapers' Academy complies fully with the School Admissions Code of Practice and the School Admission Appeals Code of Practice as these apply to maintained schools.

Places will be allocated according to the criteria below:

• Children with special educational needs
• Looked after children
• Siblings
• Children who live in the local community of Harold Hill
• Children who live in the outer catchment area off Harold Hill

Entry to the Sixth Form in September 2012 would be based on pupils' suitability for the courses available and will give priority of places to pupils in the catchment area, subject to their meeting a minimum level of attainment.
