Admissions

In addition to students currently on the roll of Drapers’ Academy 40 external Year 12 students will be admitted, subject to the following rules: 

Places on individual courses of study are limited. In the event of oversubscription for a particular course of study, priority will be given to siblings of pupils attending Drapers’ Academy at the deadline for application and who will still be attending Drapers’ Academy in September 2018 and any remaining places on the course or courses in question, will be given to applicants in descending order of their total GCSE (or equivalent qualification) point scores.

 

Academic requirements

All students undertaking a programme of three or four A Levels must have achieved Grade 5 or higher in GCSE English Language and GCSE Mathematics. 

Students undertaking four A Levels must normally have achieved Grade 6 or higher in a minimum of six GCSE (or GCSE-equivalent) subjects. Students who have achieved fewer than six Grade 6s may be considered for a programme of three A Levels. 

Students must normally have achieved Grade 6 or higher in those subjects which they intend to study at A Level. Certain courses have additional requirements; please see our prospectus for further details.
