Girls U16 Hockey Tournament - 18th October 2010

Local schools from across the Borough were invited to attend the Year 11 Hockey Tournament, that was held at Drapers' Academy, on October 18th, 2010.

Drapers' entered a team that had pupils ranging from years 9 to 11. With their Captain injured on the night, Jodie Lane stepped up to the position of goalkeeper for the first time. Samantha Blair, Head of Faculty for PE commented that, "she played excellently". Vice Captain was Amy Hayden.

Overall the team played magnificently and were unbeaten through the tournament but sadly missed out being named champions by a matter of goal average, with the Sacred Heart scoring slightly better per game and named overall winners.

Well done to all the team who represented Drapers' Academy at the tournament.
