A Sweet Treat for Little Havens

Year 9 and 10 pupils will be baking up a storm to raise funds for Little Havens Children’s Hospice on Friday 10th June supporting Little Havens Children’s Hospice ‘Brew, Bake, Celebrate! day and raising funds to ensure it can continue caring.
Pupils at Drapers Academy in Harold Hill, Romford, are taking part in Brew, Bake, Celebrate by giving up their break and lunch time to sell home made cakes and sweet treats to their fellow pupils and teachers in return for a charitable donation.
Mrs Polain-Green Pastoral Manager for Year 10 said ‘We are delighted to be supporting Brew Bake Celebrate for our Local children’s Hospice. We will be asking pupils in year 9 and 10 to get baking along with staff and our colleagues in the kitchen. Everyone loves cake so we always sell plenty and hope to raise as much as we can for Little Havens."
Everyone at Drapers' Academy is delighted to be supporting this local community event. If you would like to raise some “dough”, please visit www.havenshospices.org.uk.
