Challenging Achievement

Year 8 pupil, Connor Szczygiel, has managed to successfully complete a challenging adventure training programme and emergency life support course. Attending a residential course in the Brecon Beacons as part of the 2011 Outreach Programme, Connor completed the intensive and challenging course during the May half term holiday.

Connor, pictured above with his certificate of achievement, was glad that he attended the course as he made lots of new friends as well as having some brand new experiences.

Year 8 Pastoral Manager, Ms Burroughs, commented "It's a tremendous personal achievement for Connor to sucessfully complete this training programme. He was clearly very proud of the hard work he put into this course and the end result, as well as being a great experience."
