Heart Felt Fundraisers

After a very moving assembly about Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) last week given by two year 8 pupils, Jade-Marie Schofield and Charlie Montgomery, they have decided to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation through an Easter raffle, and have nearly raised £70 so far. Tickets are 20p and on sale every lunchtime.

The girls decided to raise the awareness of this condition as Jade Marie's cousin, who also attends the school, suffers from CHD. They used clips from u-tube and the British Heart Foundation to show the plight of suffers, it was all very emotional.

Everyone is so proud and impressed by what a lovely thing that Jade-Marie and Charlie are doing. Please support them and this good cause by buying some raffle tickets at lunchtime or making a donation (please see Mrs Burroughs the year 8 Pastoral Manager for donations).
