Hockey Team Show True Grit

to Get a Good Result

Year 9 Hockey Boys (and some year 8 boys too) put in a determined performance at the Essex Schools Hockey Tournament on Wednesday 19th January. Losing a player to injury in the first game, then a second player was injured in a further game the team showed true grit as the boys battled hard, with only 8 fit players to secure a credible 5th place against some of Essex's top private schools.

A fantastic result in very difficult circumstances. Well done boys!
