ICT Class at the Apple Store

A group of year 8 and 9 pupils had the opportunity to visit the Apple store in Lakeside for a workshop with Apple products, including the Apple Mac last week. Everyone had an enjoyable time whilst learning alot too. The pupils were rewarded with a CD of a music track they had compiled and a field trip t-shirt. 

Drapers' Academy are leading the way with state of the art technology and have recently purchased a number of Mac books for the music department to edit music notes using software such as Garage Band, whilst ICT are testing the iPad for use in future classes. The new Mac Books are supported with by two airport extreme apple wireless routers to ensure bandwidth and fast speed internet access.
