Successful Outdoor Pursuits Weekend

Saturday 9th July & Sunday 10th July 2011

Drapers' Academy pupils had a thrilling adventure weekend in the Brecon Beacons in Wales, where pupils succesfully completed assault courses, archery, kyaking, canoeing, rifle shooting, zip wire, blind trail, low ropes, team building and film studies. It was a challenging weekend and all pupils came away with a sense of personal achievement.

The trip was organised by Miss Strutt who commented that, "all the teachers that took them all agreed it was a wonderful weekend."

Of particular merit were Emily Loades and Jack Mantell who proved to be great role models, and fantastic support for the younger pupils.
