January Building Update

11th January 2012

As 2012 begins and the countdown continues to the opening of the new Drapers' Academy buildings in September this year. Progress continues at a pace on the building site. Staircases have now been completed to all areas, whilst plasterboard partitions and screed are proceeding well in all wings. 

Work is on-going to the sports hall roof but structure is now water-tight. Whilst the Ground Source Heat Pipework (GSHP) collectors are now complete and in place, so the work on filling in the sports pitches can now commence.

Work on the windows and roof lights continues to progress well, with the impressive curtain wall (window) to The Street substantially complete.

Work also continues on design aspects to the interior.
