Announcing Our First GCSE Results

Drapers’ Academy in Harold Hill has made an excellent start with their first GCSE results being announced today. With 69% of pupils achieving grades A to C in more than 5 GCSE’s, and it is anticipated that the pass rate including English and maths will exceed 37%.

Mr Slater, Principal at Drapers’ Academy said, “We are delighted with our first GCSE results. Every young person worked hard, along side a dedicated and comitted team of teachers. We are very proud of their success.

The results are significantly higher than the official predictions for the year group, and as such it shows great effort and success on behalf of our pupils.

This is a great start for Drapers’ Academy, and we know that from this point onwards, results will only improve.”
