Holocaust Survivor Shares his Story

Today Year 11 pupils had the unique experience of hearing first hand how the holocaust had affected someone when Otto Deutsch shared his life story and his own family experiences of the holocaust. Otto himself escaped Austria in 1939 when he was separated from his parents as a young boy, and brought to England, as part of the Kindertransport. His moving account of how the holocaust affected his family had a big impact on the pupils. It was both an interesting and moving lesson in history.
