Science Question of the Week
26th March 2012
As scientists, we are absolutely, 100% certain that our world is defined by atoms, incredibly small pieces of matter that interact with each other to make all known things in the universe, that give all things mass, and basically, are the reason for things existing.
But they’re incredibly small, and cannot be seen by the naked eye.
This week’s question: how can scientists know the structure of an atom, without ever being able to “see” one?
Good luck with this week’s question
The pupil who submits the best answer will be awarded a prize and get a certificate. Staff and primary pupils who answer will also get their names on the website. Pupils can enter by handing the answer to Mr Folgheraiter or by emailing at: pfolgheraiter@drapersacademy.com
