Hockey Girls New Team Outing

A mixed team of year 7, 8 and 9 pupils had their first hockey team outing tonight, a home game on the astro turf against Marshalls Park. With a completely new goal keeper, the former goal keeper now in a pitch position, and a further 3 new players, it was unsuprising perhaps that they were unable to defeat Marshalls Park. However, they fought hard and the new team show some excellent potential. Playing her first ever match Francesca Pemble, in year 7, was awarded Player of the Match by her team.

The team were Francesca Pemble; Kalisha Benton; Holly Shorey; Peace Mugambi; Karen Ohene; Bernadette Warren; Nickey Selling; Grace Taylor and Amy Massey.

We look forward to seeing the team grow and improve this year. We will be expecting great things girls!
