Hockey Girls Qualify for Finals

Congratulations to the Year 7, 8 and 9 girls who represented Drapers' Academy at the U14 Borough indoor hockey tournament this evening, successfully beating Redden Court School and Brittons Academy, with goals from Grace Taylor and Nani Mntonintshi. Despite losing the third group game they qualified for the finals to be played in a few weeks time. A fantastic result where five of the girls had not played indoor hockey previously. Player of the match was given to Pearl Siasat.

The team were: Grace Taylor (Capt), Amy Massey, Nickey Selling, Nani Mntonintshi, Pearl Siasat, Kailsha Benton (GK), Teah Stapleton and Fleur Weaver.
