Trampoline Competition

7th & 8th February 2012

Pupils from all year groups represented Drapers' Academy in a Trampoline Competition this week. Performing a set routine and then a freestyle routine all pupils put in a very good performance, notable though was Holly Shorey, with her back and front somersault in the lower years, whilst Sean Phillips was awarded a bronze medal for his routines.

The Year 7 and 8 pupils came 6th and 7th respectively. Whilst Year 10 girls came 3rd and Year 10 boys were 2nd. All team members were given a medal for participating in the competition, and it was rewarding to see after all their hard work in training.

The competitors in Years 7, 8 and 9 were: Fleur Weaver, Tammy Back, Carly Newby, Melissa Weedon, Bekki McKatherine, Lauryn Taylor, Holly Shorey, Lucy Mason, Ryan McKnight and Jordan Liddard.

The competitors in Years 10 and 11(pictured above) were: Shelby Cox, Paris Bowers, Georgia List, Kelsey Desouza, Taylor Whybrow, Sean Phillips, Archie Edwards, Kieran Russell and Katie Alexander.
