U14 Boys Hockey Great Performance

The Drapers' Academy U14 boys hockey team put in a tremendous performance against Wescliff Boys this evening. With chances at each end it was a lucky Westcliff that managed to bundle a goal over the line, with the final result 1-0. The quality of play by Academy pupils was very high and everyone remained optimistic that progression to the next stage of the competition was possible, we just have to beat our next two opponents!

Player of the match was given to William Williams for his brilliant role in defence.

The team were: Tomy Lawrence, William Williams, John Binks, Stephen Stapleton, Jack Ostermeyer, George Jones, David Shepheard (Capt.), Connor Harvey, Ben Williams, Jake Liman, Regan Sullivan, Kye Fullbrook, Karl Robbins (GK) and Mason Emery.
