Curriculum Intent

Pupils will build on their understanding of rights and responsibilities and begin to apply this knowledge to a wider national and global issues such as the refugee crisis. PSHE is designed to look at how citizens need to consider their individual actions and how this can impact others in the diverse world we live in. Students will also be able to draw on their understanding in other curriculum areas to better understand what they are responsible for and how to prepare for life. These lessons will also enable students to consider what steps they can take as informed active citizens to address areas of concern and develop curricular understanding, so that they can better understand the purpose of what they are learning.
