House System

The House System is an integral part of life at the Academy.

Pupils, students and staff are assigned to a house when they begin at the Academy with siblings being assigned to the same house.

The House System aims to provide a sense of competition whilst being at the forefront of the history and tradition. House Points are awarded throughout the year in competitions such as sport, science challenges, enterprise, public speaking and many more. House Points are also awarded for pupil behaviour and excellence.

At the end of each academic year an assembly is dedicated to the house competition. During the assembly the winner will be announced and their colour ribbons will be places on the Drapers’ Academy House Trophy.
