Academic Studies
Our students have the option of choosing 3 or 4 subjects to study at A Level from the choice of courses we offer:
Art and Design | Biology | Business | Chemistry |
Drama and Theatre Studies | Economics | English Literature | Further Maths |
Geography | History | Law | Mathematics |
Physics | Politics | Product Design | Psychology |
Religious Studies | Sociology |
Students are also given the opportunity to choose to complete an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) alongside their A Level subjects, counting as an additional academic qualification. For this project they can choose to research an essay, carry out a study or produce an artefact from any area of interest.
EPQs require a large amount of independent research and as such are highly regarded by universities across the country.
Projects completed in the past include:
- ''Can cheese prevent tooth decay?''
- ''Has Covid-19 affected the increase of OCD''
- ''Can the Arts have a positive effect on our mental health''
